1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, update your profile, use our services, or communicate with us. This may include your email address, name, and data related to your bowling arsenal.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, to develop new ones, and to protect StrikeStack and our users. We may use your bowling data anonymously for aggregate statistics.

3. Scoresheet Photos

When you scan a scoresheet in the session logger, the photo of the scoresheet is sent to Google's Gemini API to read your frames. If "Help Improve Scanning" is turned on in Settings (it is on by default), we also store that photo, the frames read from it, and any corrections you make, in private storage that only StrikeStack can access. We use stored scans only to measure and improve the accuracy of scoresheet reading, which may include training our own scoresheet-reading models. Stored scans are never shown publicly or sold.

A scoresheet photo usually includes other bowlers' names and scores. You can turn scan storage off at any time in Settings, which stops new scans from being stored. If you delete your account, we remove the link between your stored scans and your account, but we may keep the scans to improve scoresheet reading. Scans stored before October 11, 2026 are deleted with your account. You can delete your stored scans, or your account (with or without your stored scans), at any time in Settings.

4. Data Security

We use reasonable organizational, technical, and administrative measures to protect personal information under our control. However, no data transmission over the Internet or data storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not share personal information with companies, organizations, or individuals outside of StrikeStack except in the following cases: with your consent, for legal reasons, or for external processing by trusted partners.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and hold certain information to improve your experience and to persist your login session.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
